GREEN IDEAS TO SAVE YOU MONEY
Up to 90% of the cost of operating
washing machines is associated with the energy needed to heat the
water. Reduce the amount of hot water used by washing clothes in warm
water, instead of hot, or in cold water, instead of warm. Washing only full loads will also reduce hot-water consumption.

Since the 1920s Maitz Home Services has been installing home comfort systems for residents of Allentown and the surrounding area.
Some of you may remember us as Snyder Plumbing & Heating. It was back in 1964 that a bright and ambitious young man named Charles Maitz purchased Snyder and renamed it Maitz Plumbing & Heating. Around this time, central air conditioning was fast becoming a necessity throughout the greater Allentown area. Quickly, Maitz acquired the expertise to provide his extensive customer base with complete central air conditioning installation and repair services, and consequently renamed his company once again to Maitz Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in the early 1970’s. Over the next two decades, the business continued to grow. But change is inevitable, and in 1990, a very positive change took place when Dave DeWalt purchased the business from Charles Maitz. Since then, amazing things have happened, all of which enable us to better serve your many home comfort needs. Now for example, you can still obtain the best in plumbing, heating and air conditioning services from us. More than that, we now offer such added services as septic service and repair, water conditioning, and electrical. To reflect this broader scope, Dave DeWalt changed the company name to Maitz Home Services in 2001, which it remains today.
But even after eight-plus decades of continuous operation, our single most important customer is still you. And we very much look forward to our next opportunity to serve you.
